A little help

Let’s find your next step.

Quick answers for your tracker, your devices, and your Plus subscription.

Common questions

How do I log, edit, or delete a pouch?

Tap Log a pouch on Today for a quick entry using your default strength. Choose Add time, strength or a note for more detail. In History, tap an entry to edit it, use the plus button to add a past entry, or swipe to delete an entry.

How do goals and streaks work?

Set your daily ceiling in You → Your plan & preferences. In History, choose Review & confirm a completed day when all of that day’s pouches are logged. Confirm zero-pouch days too.

Streaks count consecutive confirmed, completed days through yesterday. An unconfirmed day does not count as pouch-free or within your goal. Earlier days keep their previous goals when you change your plan. Editing old logs can change your streak.

What does the savings estimate mean?

Pouchlight compares elapsed time at your starting daily pace with the pouches you have recorded, using your baseline cost per pouch. The estimate is never negative and does not count future time. Missing logs can overstate it.

Changing your baseline, price, or currency recalculates the estimate. It is not a bank balance or a verified amount saved.

How do I add a logging widget?

Finish setup in Pouchlight first. Touch and hold your iPhone Home Screen, open the widget gallery, and search for Pouchlight. Add a widget, then tap its plus button to log with your default strength. You can edit that entry in the app afterward.

If the widget asks you to open Pouchlight, launch the app and check for any saving error before trying again.

How does Apple Watch tracking sync?

Install Pouchlight on your paired Watch through the Watch app on iPhone. Open Pouchlight on both devices to sync your plan. You can log on Watch while your phone is away; entries are stored on Watch and sync when the devices reconnect.

Keep both apps installed and reopen them if sync is waiting. iPhone edits and deletions are shared with Watch. After erasing all tracking data on iPhone, logs from a Watch that has not yet received the reset are discarded when it reconnects.

What is free, and what does Plus include?

Logging, editable history, personal goals, seven-day charts, savings estimates, confirmed-day streaks, milestone badges, widgets, Apple Watch tracking, CSV export, and the one-minute pause are free.

Pouchlight Plus adds 30-day charts, logged trigger and time-of-day patterns, and weekly comparisons for $3.99 USD per month in the US App Store. It renews monthly, with no free trial. The App Store shows the applicable local price before you confirm.

I subscribed. How do I restore Plus?

Use the Apple Account that made the purchase, connect to the internet, and choose You → Restore purchases. Restore is also available on the Plus screen. If access is still missing, email us with the message shown in the app and your app version. Please do not send payment-card details or passwords.

How do I cancel or request a refund?

Open iPhone Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions → Pouchlight, or use You → Manage subscription in the app. Cancel at least 24 hours before the current period ends to avoid the next renewal. Deleting the app or erasing tracking data does not cancel a subscription.

Apple handles billing and refund decisions. You can request a refund from Apple. Apple’s cancellation instructions provide more help.

How do I export or erase my history?

Choose You → Export history as CSV to save or share a copy of your active pouch logs. For a fresh start, choose You → Erase all tracking data and confirm.

Erasure removes tracking history, goals, and onboarding answers from the app and sends a reset to your paired Watch. Offline Watch data is removed when it reconnects. Copies you exported, shared, or backed up separately are not removed. Your Apple subscription is managed separately.

Is Pouchlight medical advice?

No. Pouchlight is a personal tracking and planning tool. Its goals are chosen by you, its patterns describe your logs, and the strength field records the amount printed on your pack. It does not measure nicotine absorbed or diagnose, treat, or promise health outcomes.
